Xtreme Recovery Xtreme Towing and Storage Storage crooks Hamburg New York
My vehicle was repossessed by Five Star Bank for being 1 (one) payment behind. They contracted with this ripoff company to tow and subsequently store the vehicle. After resolving the issue with the bank we had to deal separately with this tow company. Well, they jerked us around all afternoon on Friday telling us they never received the release from the bank in which they did. I ran around trying to get this resolved til bout 3:30pm. I contacted Xtreme at 3:46pm explaining that I might be 5 or so minutes late as I was informed at that time they close at 4pm. Josh (who answered the phone) tells me I'm 20-25 minutes away and he doesn't have anyone who can wait. I said no I'm very close and should be there by 4:05pm. He said they couldn't wait. I kept driving there anyways and pulled in their lot at 4:07pm. The doors were locked and lights were off with the exception of a light in one of their garage bays. I look in the window and noticed 2 gentlemen there saying we are closed. They wouldn't open up and give me my vehicle causing me to incur 3 more days of storage fees. Someone has to stop these criminals from stealing!

I also was one payment behind but made arrangements. Went to leave for chemo and saw this tow truck attempting to hook my vehicle up. Asked what was going on amd he said what does it look like.maybe you should pay yout bills. I was in tears and said i jad no idea what was going on and asked if i could call and where i was headed. He was nasty and said no and didnt care. I got upset and said was calling police and he said go ahead that i will end up in jail like the last guy for spitting on him. I then was shaking. I never spit on him. I was sick and said just let me get my babies carseat and my papers. He said move. I stated car couldnt be towed that way because of lift and that it was also in gear. He said he will tow anyway he wants. I wouldnt move until he got in his truck amd started dragging vehicle out anyway and didnt care i was in the way. Next day i got release and made complaint but they held me off for 6 more days. By time i did get our car we foundseat adjusted. Mud on jeep and someones sweatshirt on passenger seat. Instead of paying 30 for one day he charged me 210. Twice i called and said i was on my way and would be there by 330. Once he said thwy left on call amd wouldnt be back. Mext day told them 10 minutes away and they were gone. It was 3:37 on the dot and of course it was a friday.
