Yazmo Yazmo ripoff defective merchandise deceptive advertising Internet
I purchased a proffessional makeup box appoximatly 9 months ago. On first opening the box the liner wasn't aligned and the partitions would not fit or stay in place. I kept the box as it is really just used a storage box. I don't wear my makeup very often so don't handle the container more than once a month. I don't travel with this box. It has never left my house.
A few days ago I picked up the case and one of the brackets holding the handle broke off. I moved the handle to get a better look and the entire handle snapped off. It was quite a surprise as this was supposed to be a proffesional makeup case. Has I been in transit this would have been quite a challenge.
I called the company explained how little the box had been used and was met with the answer that since it was considered luggage it would not have any type of warranty past 30 days from purchase. Quite a surprise from a company that has "Award winning customer service" on its makeup case page. I guess I should have clarified what the award was for exactly.
