YellowPages.Com charged my Credit Card $ 564.00 for an Enhanced Placement Ad to go online, under the San Diego, Photographers, Portrait Heading. They did not create the ad and did not put it online for almost 10 months. The EPL or Enhanced Placement Ad, differs from their free generic listing ads...because the EPL Ad has a Direct Link to my Website, and also has 3 lines of text, of my choice, describing my business...along with my phone #. The generic free listing does NOT.

When I discovered that they did not create the EPL ad....I filed a claim and Nathan Carrig was assigned my case # 5-661852. For 9 months, they had only put the generic free listing. I told him that without the direct link to my website and the 3 lines of text which separates my business from every other business on that page...I lost all of the Holiday work since they did not put my ad online, along with all the 'bread and butter" work. Nathan Carrig sent me a letter REFUSING to credit back my credit card ANY of the $ 564.00 and he also REFUSED to give me ANY reduction whatsoever for future advertising.

In other words, they took my money, they did not produce the AD which the money was for, and thumbed their nose at me...'we got your money, too bad...that we didn't give you what you paid for...tough luck, we're keeping your money anyway"...was their attitude. Each person I talked to tried to tell me that since they put the generic free listing online, that was 'as good as the EPL $ 564.00 AD...' All of them are basic theives and liars...which obviously comes down from the top CEO's. Anyway, I contacted the Attorney Generals, and found out the address and phone #'s of the Supervisors & finally was able to get them to credit my Advertising account ALL of the money for the next online advertising next month. So, since other people have also had major problems with them, I want to post the contact info online: CLAIMS DEPT Area Supervisior: Pat Michaels (314) 242-8686.

To file a Small Claim for So. Calif: LLC 611 N. Brand Blvd. 5th Floor, Glendale, CA. 92103 The Agent to Serve the Papers: City Corp System 818 West 7th St. L.A. Calif...90017 By the time I discovered they didn't do the ad they charged me for, it was too late to file a dispute with the credit card company.

It took 3 months of Hell because of these demons from Hell who run AT&T...except Pat Michaels was very nice and so they've agreed to credit back my account the total of $ 564.00. One Atty General told me to contact their Legal Dept: Susan Crawford 1(800) 527-2355 AT&T Adv & publishing

A few years ago, I received a surprise check from a Class Action Lawsuit against SBC which is now AT&T...because they were charging us for advertising at the 1st of the month while the Phone books were not even delivered until the end of the month...so they finally got sued. Complaints work....silence and sweeping it under the carpet, and being a victim of their dirty tricks and lying thieving ways....doesn't work.
