Even knowing I shouldn't, I signed up for a "free" trial sample of Luminess eye cream. I made certain that I deselected the box marked sign up for recurring shipments. Today I was hit with 3 charges $99.01, $1.99 & $98.71. I called the number listed by my bank as the contact number on the transactions. I got a woman who was beyond beligerent on top of continually coughing and repeating "Oh God!" into the phone. She proceeds to tell me that I dialed the wrong number. I still have my bank account pulled up so I repeated the number to her. "Yep that's wrong. What product did you order?" I told her I didn't order anything and she launches into a tirade of "I'm going to repeat myself again" and "Do you think Free trial means Free? You have to pay for it."
Well it did cross my mind that free meant free but shame on me for not reading the super fine print. But here is the real problem. I ordered this free trial on 1/21/2017 and was charged for my "30 days" on 2/7/2017 I asked to return the unused portion and I got, "You have to call before the 30 days and cancel then you can return." I then told her to cancel any future shipments and REMOVE me from their system. She began hollering at me that I was DELETED! But even though my 30 days isnt up I can not get a credit.....
I would NEVER have signed up for a "free trial" of anything knowing that it would cost me $200. This is one of the biggest scams and rip off's by some of the nastiest people on earth! Stay Away!
