Z & S MOVERS, INC. STOLE 23K WORTH OF MY HOME GOODS! Rip-off! Hicksville New York
Z&S Movers, INC, Hicksville, NY is a prime rip-off artist who thankfully went out of business. A contract price for a Pack and Move was $3,869.00 and they charged us $9,100.00 We had to pay or they would keep our stuff. Actually, that is what happened in the end - They went out of business and stole $23,000.00 worth of our homegoods! They never packed it, we did. They also changed our moving date 3 times and were late arriving... big surprise.
They stole the following: Childrens Bikes, DVD Player and 110 movies, 2 VCRS and 230 tapes, 12 Playstation games, ALL BEDS, ALL TV's, Collectable items from Movies - priceless, crushed our dryer and washer, bad dent down side of refrigerator, crushed a computer and desk, pulverized table, end tables and chairs. They had the nerve to deliver someone else's stuff mixed in!
We asked for a claim form, it never came, so we started our long road to recovery - Attorney General to find out where they went, who insured them, that took 60 days. Then another 30 days just to get a claim number, then another 32 days to have an adjuster look at paperwork - and he only came into work on fridays!
After 8 Months of waiting, they denied our claim, But I HAVE AN CONTRACT THAT SAYS OTHERWISE. I hired an attorney and will seek the 23k plus punitive damages and I will never stop with this case until justice is served. How can you put a price on lost photos of your children? Family photos? Wedding photos? All this is gone, they erased our history from existence. Payback is a bi@#$!
