Zales ripoff Humble Texas
my husband and i upgraded our wedding set at zales in humble, texas in april 2005. i purchased a 1.1 ct princess diamond. we sent our rings out to be sized. my husband picked them up and i commented that it didnt look right but he said it was because we changed from yellow to white gold. i put my ring back inthe box and never gave it a second thought. i work in hospital so i never wear my ring.
every six months you have to bring your ring in to keep your warranty. while the salesman was getting the paperwork togather i browsed the store. this is when i noticed the ring i have was a lot smaller than other rings that had a smaller carat size. naturally i panicked and brought this to the attention of the store manager. at this time he handed my ring back to me and said the ring i have isnt even a zales ring.
we asked to speak to the jeweler and they said he died. we asked them to pull surveillance videos and they said they didnt have any. i went to two other zales stores where they told me i did in fact have a zales ring. still no one will do anything.
we have always done business with zales and have spent a substantial amount of money with this company. this means absolutley nothing to them. if i have to eat $5000 i at least want other consumers to be aware so they dont become victims.
