ZAZZLE advertises a liberal return policy, but they do not honor it. Be advised that they will cheat you.
I bought a poster from Zazzle. When I put it up (in a frame - no tacks or glue), it reflected the light poorly. Well within the 30-day limit, I went to Zazzle.com to learn how to return the poster.
First, they make it very difficult to find the returns section. Then they ask for a lot of data, including going through several drop-down lists to describe the product - although that information is available not only from other questions, but also by the part number. Finally, you are required to write a short essay describing why you are returning the product.
I did all of that, adding a note that I found their return process to be onerous.
I received NO reply. A week later, I repeated the entire process. Once again, there was NO reply.
Finally I returned the poster in perfect condition in the original packaging. I did not have an RMA number, so I wrote PENDING on the outside of the package and enclosed a letter describing the situation and requesting a refund.
NO RESPONSE. NO REFUND.
A company that makes errors is one thing, but a company that willfully cheats its customers is another. Caveat emptor.
