Called company April of 2004 for amount to pay off clarinet that was purchased in September of 2001. Was told amount was $97. Paid final amount April 13, 2004.

July 15, 2004 I received a letter from U.S. Recoveries, Worldwide stating i owed Brook Mays Music Co. $534.02. I had received no further bill from this company since April.

I had called this company immedidately to clear up this matter. I had talked to a woman, Renee, there and I had asked for a payment history to be sent to me and asked why I never received any bill after last payment was made. She had no answer for me. I had received nothing. I also called U.S Recoveries for assistance with this matter. They too had called this company to send this information. To this date I still have received no response.

Please help!!! This has been going on since July and is going against my credit. I would like them to resolve this matter as soon as possible.

Thank you so much Joan for helping me with my account. You don't know what a relief this is. This has been very upsetting for months and I am so glad to have this finally taken care of. I would also like to thank Andy for your letter. Apparently the same thing happened to me. I only wish I would have taken your advice sooner. Apologies to Rick for not contacting you but at the time I recieved that information I had been dealing with my son going through surgery and getting him on the road to recovery. To anyone in the future dealing with this company and run into any problems please contact either of these people and they will do all they can to help you.

I have been dealing with Zeswitz Music in Reading, PA for many years. Since they were acquired by Brookmays Music a few years ago, the billing operation was moved to Dallas, TX. I had a similar issue which was resolved with the help of the store manager at Zeswitz. His name is Rick. My payoff was posted as a payment instead of a payoff, which in my opinion is an honest mistake, hardly fraud. I am sure that you will get satisfaction if you ask the store for help.
