even THEY do NOT want their crap back
Recently we saw the ad for a company called "Anniecloth" In looking at the pictures of the clothing they sell it looked promising and the prices seemed reasonable. My wife ordered three items from them - one literally minutes after the first item and we requested they combine the orders so that shipping would not need to be duplicated.
Surprise we get an email back that the order was already processed and they could not combine the orders even though they were minutes apart. To top it off, a day later we get an email stating that there would be a delay in shipment - to which we again said with the delay to combine the two orders - since they had NOT been processed yet they again refused. The product was finally shipped a week later, and both charged separately! Here's the real kicker - we get the product about three weeks later and the quality of the material and workmanship could be best described as coming from one just taking a beginners sewing class.
The material was substandard, the workmanship was as described and the material smelled of heavy chemicals possibly from the dye process. Anniecloth was contacted for an RMA and refund request and here is where the truth comes out. First they offer you a 15% refund and you keep the junk. When refused they then try and offer you a 25% refund and you still keep the junk - again refused and they try and offer you a 40% refund and you STILL keep the junk they made. When all laughable offers were refused and a full refund requested they finally send you a return label - but YOU pay the postage. This would not be bad, until you find out that they have NO US based distribution - it all comes from China and has to be returned there.
They then state that any additional fees when it arrives will be deducted from your refund. Since it has to be sent internationally, the cost can be upwards of $20 just for the shipping, then if you want to have a tracking number you add another $25 through USPS. You wind up paying more for the shipment then the whole order was worth to begin with. All for product that wouldn't be fit for a dust rag as it would probably fall apart the first time you used it. Also be advised that some of their product has to be dry cleaned - only they do NOT advise you of that when you go to purchase it - you only find it out AFTER the purchase.
If you do not mind cheap junk material and extremely poor quality craftsmanship then Anniecloth is for you - if you do not want to get ripped off - avoid them and anything they sell like the black plague - they definitely are NOT worth anyone's time, trouble and definitely not your money.
