I just purchased a used 2006 Toyota sienna from 440 auto sales. It looked ok and test drove ok. When I took it to my mechanic for snow tires and to look it over he advised me to return the car.he was afraid to lift the car because the rocker panels were rotted away. He lifted the car on a drive on lift and pointed out major problems with the body and frame, Rear axle bushing slots, rocker panels, pinch welds missing, front unibody frame rotted on both sides, left front on unibody covered up with fiberglass or tar(this holds the driver seat and seatbelt in.
Driver could be ejected in an accident), right rear coil spring is broke, exhaust issues, oil pan transmission pan rear differential, bad callipers breaks and rotors, several light bulbs. I paid 8990 plus fees and taxes for a car that is unsafe and can not legally be driven in Pennsylvania or anywhere else. Tyler at 440 auto sales in Cleveland is a crook. They should not have sold a car In such poor condition. He told me I bought it as is. They do not take returns.

You could have invested $100-$200 to have a mechanic inspect the vehicle PRIOR to purchase. That would have cost you a mere 1-2% of the purchase price.
Now you understand the definition of an as-is sale.
Happy motoring!
