Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Cedar Rapids Horrible quality and stealing money CEDAR RAPIDS IA
I was quoted around $7000 to repipe my house. They said the work would be done in 2 days. Each day the plumber showed up late after 10AM and only worked 5 hours.
After two days they are only 10% done and repiped a single fixture, the laundry, which is the easiest fixture right next to the water main. On the second day they incorrectly solder a joint and left for the day, leaving a water leak under my walls. Other work they performed is incorrect and not per code.
After 2 days of this and them being no where close to complete I said I do not want them to continue this job and will pay them a reasonable amount equavilant to a percent of the work they actually completed. They said it will $7000 for the two days of work. Unfortunatly I had already gave them my credit card info up front, and they said they are now STEALING the money. I am taking them to small claims court.
