I purchased a 2008 650i BMW Convertible from Maverick Medina on October 8, 2020. 3 days later I returned the car for massive coolant leaks.
The mechanic replaced the coolant hose but did not replace the green coolant, this car requires blue or pink coolant. Needless to say the pathetic mechanic while replacing my coolant hose, disconnected my gas line, mind you gas was leaking out of my car while driving over 10 miles to get home, the next morning I awoke to a very pungent gas smell in my garage, I called them up right away and was given a very sexist comment from Jason a supervising mechanic who stated that I needed to have a male check my car because I don't know the difference between gas and coolant?
Make this long almost a years drama short,,My car has been in the shop over 5 times, this last bill was around $12,000, for massive engine oil leakage and massive coolant leaks. Not to mention the living daylights being afraid to drive my new car, Furthermore I reported their sorry unprofessional attempted murderers to the Bureau of Automotive Repair and to the DMV Investigation unit, both are worthless they did nothing to assist nor were they concerned. I want everyone to know that just because your car is AS-IS you still have rights.
The dealer should report to you Sold AS-IS with faults basis it a code in the law. Attorney Michael R. Vachon
858-674-4100 speaks about it.
After looking at just the Yelp reviews, Over 30 customers have either experienced what I have experienced and or have been scammed out of their money by BMG. If you are reading this please contact the lawyer, report them to the Bureau of Automotive Repair, the State Attorney General office, DMV Investigation Unit and their bond company Hudson Insurance Company: 100 William St. 5th for. NY, NY 10038. # 212-978-2800
BMG Bond #10039697.
The owner name is Michael W. But I am unsure because I have been told a different name.
I have paid a lot of money out of my pocket $1,000's of dollars and the car is still needing more repairs just to get it in running condition. These losers are lies, cheats and scam artists, Go to Yelp.com and see the reviews, I have not had a chance to review Trust pilots reviews if any.. Should anyone who has been scammed by these losers,,Email me so we can put our stories together as a collective and get a good lawyer.

This is a PUBLIC WEBSITE and if you just can’t take it when somebody points out YOUR OBVIOUS ERRORS, don’t post here! It is interesting, and we’ve seen it MANY TIMES, how when the poster can’t put together an intelligent rebuttal, they embellish their story with exaggerations.

BTW, You are not an attorney and you obviously don't know the law,,BTW BMW's are very reliable cars as I am in my 9th one for your information. I wrote this as my experience not yours, and once it is fixed you will NOT have to replace every 3k, Know what you are speaking of before you post..Have you owned a BMW? And are you a mechanic?

Unless you took the car to a mechanic BEFORE buying and had it inspected, sadly there is nothing you or anyone else can do. You bought the car as is, meaning just that. Any repairs are yours. No way around it.
BTW, BMW's are notorious for cooling system problems. They are not a reliable car. If you keep it, you can plan on going through this every 3K miles or so. That is why BMW's are always relatively cheap to buy used. Hate that you are going through this, but nothing you can fo now, except unload the car before something else happens to it.

Did this car include a warranty or was it an AS IS purchase? If it was AS IS, did you even bother to read the paperwork to see YOU are responsible for ALL repairs? Did you even bother to read about the perils of buying used Bmw’s? Did you read about how EXPENSIVE they are to repair? Did you research how many dealers REFUSE to sell them as used cars due to the super high repair costs and repair frequency? Anybody who did said research would NEVER CONSIDER buying a used BMW, ever!
