I sent a certified letter to Chime's Risk Management Dept at 101 California Street, in San Francisco, CA, along with a police report and the account number of a card I never applied for, requested, received, used, etc. 20 days later, after receiving no response from their legal department, I called. I was put on hold 4 times and told that the account needed to be verified. Okay. I asked again after being on hold for 18 minutes, and then I requested a supervisor. I was then told that they would NOT verify it. I had to file an FCC report. They refuse to give me any information regarding this fraudulent account, because I don't know what checking acct it's associated with. Well, I can't since I didn't open it...but it's in my name. Requesting assistance was futile, sending the police report was unconsequential, and expecting a reply at all after 20 days according to their policy. Check your credit report and get ready to sue, if you are having a similar fraud experience with Chime. They are not going to deal fairly with you, as a fraud victim.
