Commit financial loan fraud, forge loan documents, misrepresent amounts in the Federal Truth in Lending Disclosure. Deacon Jones Auto group staff and management harass, threaten and attempt to blackmail a customer attempting to civilly resolve the issue with them. Deacon Jones Chrysler Dodge Jeep General Manager Shane Brady is rude, dismissive, and quite frankly the absolute worst manager of any company I have ever dealt with. I have never received such disturbing treatment from any manager of any business of any industry. General Manager Shane Brady does not like me addressing him by name and title when I am posting an honest and truthful negative reviews or criticism. Deacon Jones Dodge General Manager Shane Brady threatened me on the phone with a defamation lawsuit for slander and libel. Shane Brady yelled at me on the phone demanding to know what I would do to reimburse himself and Deacon Jones Dodge when he proved my review and issue wrong. Deacon Jones General Manager Shane Brady has not and won't be able to prove me wrong. The last interaction I had with Deacon Jones Automotive  General Manager Shane Brady was where I was yelled at in the showroom of The Deacon Jones Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram building on a Saturday afternoon with other customers present and told to "get out" and "never come back" by a hostile, belligerent, threatening, reddening Shane Brady.

Please note that while the Dealership staff directory at the Deaconjonescjd.com website has changed to reflect what I believe is Shane Brady"s brother Ritchie Brady as General Manager of Deacon Jones Auto group they are not the same individual and I have not spoken or interacted with Ritchie to my knowledge.

The entire staff including finance managers, finance directors, and corporate executives argue and do not know the difference between the terms interest rate and APR. Apr is the number that is legally bound to be accurately disclosed in the Federal Truth in Lending Disclosure of all Auto Retail Installment Contracts produced. Apr includes the amount of interest collected before the first payment due date and any other financing charges. Apr can sometimes be the same as interest rate but not often, and not always. APR will always be higher than interest rate if the two numbers are different which is why the Federal Truth in Lending Act requires the use of APR.

This is extremely concerning to me as Deacon Jones Auto Group staff and corporate management have repeatedly told me if mine is calculated wrong all of their customers would be wrong also. It is very discerning that all staff and management is unaware of the difference between these two different terms considering the fact that Deacon Jones Auto Group owner Bobby Kenneth Jones II who will not speak with me or respond to my email is on the executive board of the local bank right across the road from Deacon Jones Auto Group.

Deacon Jones Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram has blocked me from their Facebook page after I left my review as they don't like criticism. Deacon Jones Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram staff seems to believe they are above the law, perhaps because the local long standing Sheriff of over 24 years endorsed them on video still displayed on the Deacon Jones website and YouTube channel even before his daughter married the owners son.

Both General Manager Shane Brady and Deacon Jones Auto Group VP of operations, Jeremy Ferraez have both told me to go ahead and sue Deacon Jones, telling me I won't get anywhere with them in Smithfield. Jeremy greeted me at his office door when I went to meet with him saying "why don't you just go ahead and sue us? We messed up, tried to go back and fix it after" "I'm very familiar with your situation just sue us"

Both Shane and Jeremy have told me that a third party company "they can't disclose any specifics to me because of privacy laws and stuff but I talked with a guy there and he implied (insert very specific term/accusation that can't reasonably be implied with very specific numerical detail) seemingly trying to get me to not file suit with them. The information they state has nothing to do with the issue at hand which is them misrepresenting, altering, and forging a contract costing me thousands more. Deacon Jones submitted to the Gap insurance company a completely different loan amount and length compared to the finance company. Deacon Jones Chrysler Jeep Dodge staff doesn't seem to realize that on page 2 of the retail installment contract it states that any gap contract is part of that contract as well. Deacon Jones Auto Group staff doesn't seem to realize that between the parts of the contract there are 2 different loan lengths, and 3 different amount financed amounts.

When I posted to Facebook my experience it is amazing how many other individuals reached out expressing horrible experiences with Deacon Jones Automotive Group. Some individuals even indicated that they had seen, witnessed, or been victim of forgery and fraud with this Dealership group as well.

It is truly disturbing that a local business treats their customers like this. It is also disturbing that the owner can not respond to me or discuss. While obviously Deacon Jones is just a namesake/ brand I hope no one misinterprets and thinks that they will be dealing with good honest religious people. I do not know of any religion that would find the treatment, threats, harassment, and fraud as acceptable.

All statements provided in this review are factual or my honest expressed opinion on the treatment and experience I have had. All names posted are or have been in the past publicly disclosed Names and titles of Management that are publicly posted and available on the Dealership website. I have not seen any of these individuals demanding reviews addressing them by name and title within the company praising them in a positive manner be removed.

1 website reformatted what I wrote. 2 yes I purchased the vehicle 3 reading it before signing has nothing at all to do with changing and forging them after the fact or the calculations do not match how they are applied on the backend. 4 there is no $799 fee or anything else you mentioned on any of my papers with the dealership.

Let me give you a tip...if you want somebody to actually read your complaint, CONDENSE IT to a Readers Digest version. It is unclear if you bought the car or not. If you did, how much time did you spend READING the paperwork, BEFORE AGREEING to the Terms and Conditions of said contract? Did you see the $799 FAKE FEE for paperwork??? You agreed to this BS? Any dealership which adds FAKE, BOGUS, ADD-ON fees is telling you IN ADVANCE they do not practice HONESTY and INTEGRITY. In that case...YOU WALK OUT!
