Derane NJI Neba Parrot breeder scam Pueblo Colorado
My elderly mother paid $400 for a quaker parrot, including $150 for shipping. Then the shipper (LogisticPro Shipping) he uses wanted another $1,100 for an air conditioned crate. The courier would refund 99% in cash when the bird was delivered.
When I said I wasn't paying that, Mr. Neba said he could pay $300 if I would send him the $800 balance. I asked for a refund and he kept putting me off. After a month of emailing the breeder and the shipper (63 emails) I came to the conclusion that my mom was out $400. I've heard nothing from him since. I believe they were working together.
