I called EQ Bank after my credit card was stolen. The phone Rep said "aya kneed yoo to veeryfaye yoor eey-mel". I told him I was on a borrowed phone, gave my name and told him it was urgent to Blick my card transactions. He refused, and denied access to supervisors. I only had my phone, now stolen. I went to Samsung store the following day to use a courtesy computer to email the fraud department. They took their sweet time to read my email marked EXTREMELY URGENT, enough time went by for the thief to tap their way to $3,000. I reported fraud. They stalled for 4 months! (not a typo) Then replied with "we found no error" so did not honor their advertised "zero fraud liability". They did block my access to my account, nevermind that only the physical card was compromised. I complained to management, the manager, Jean, replied stating my "disputed transactions" did not appear fraudulent. I asked "how do transactions appear fraudulent?" My understanding is that it is the customer who decides what is fraudulent, otherwise transactions are simply transactions. I have little choice except to sue this criminal enterprise. Avoid this "bank" they are incompetent, dishonest, and untrustworthy. Mark J. King
