Forever Solar Electric Calin Mogojan Endless Lies, No insurance, no license, Destroyed my roof, damaged my house, ended my marriage, cost me thousands! Huntington Beach California
in 2021 Calin Mogojan had his crew with his foreman Aurel, install our solar array and never finished the job. I had to hire another company to connect our batteries and inverter to it. This year in January I noticed a puddle of water in our ceiling after the rains and when it dried out and I opened the hole to see what was leaking I saw the bottom of a bare mounting screw that was letting water into the house. They sent a crew out three times to try to fix the problem. After the third time there was so much damage to the house I tried to file an insurance claim, but Farmers sent out 2 licensed roofing contractors that all said that the solar installation was faulty and gave me detailed reports showing what was done wrong. We started researching and realized that the 45 panels that were put onto the home all had to be redone after our roof was also completely redone. We researched licensed and vetted roofing and interior repair contractors and submitted their bids to Calin, but he refused to pay any of them stating "If you go after my bond, you'll get nothing since there are others that will take it, but I like you so I will fix your house, but I need to send my guys only." We didn't have the money for the repairs ourselves, so we said OK which ended in a nightmare of trying to get people we had no control over fix our house. This meant that in the middle of repairing and painting the interior of the house while we are packed into two bedrooms after breaking our furniture and home they abandon the job and Calin doesn't respond to our calls and texts for a week. It's been torture and it's ended my marriage.
Stay away from Calin Mogojan and Forever Solar Electric or whatever they change their name to in a month. Use ANYONE else! There isn't a worse company that you can pick. The lies that he tells as he promises to show up are uncountable. He has promised to show up at least 30+ times and when he does come out the work is sub-standard. Make sure that if you hear the name of Calin Mogojan or Forever Solar trying to install solar panels on your house that they are not licensed roofers and they are not licensed to sell solar don't have insurance and should never get access to any roof no matter how low their price is. It will cost you money to use this company. It cost me over $20,000 to fix the damage that they did, They are complete hacks and lie constantly about what they will do. You can't afford it. Make sure that you Facebook or instagram to all your friends to stay away from Forever Solar!
