Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was charged $55 for about 15 minutes of work. All they did was mill out the inside of a bushing about a thousandth of an inch. Customer service and attitude were poor at best. I do not recommend using this business.

Our response

Customer called in with with a request to bore out 6 bushings for his leaf springs and that the bushings that he bought did not fit the bolts he had for the vehicle, one of which was his attempt at drilling it out him self - We gave him a over the phone quote to bore out the 6 bushings at 3 inches in length to a slip fit for the bolt at $16.00ea and IF he had them in the shop today it was a good possibility they would be done today.

Customer shows up and now wants only 2 bushings done and proceeded to go back and forth wanting either 2 correct diameter bushings bored or 2 bigger diameter bushings turned and slightly faced this was about a 10 to 12 min conversation - We advised him that the bushings to be turned could not be done today but could be done for Monday morning and he said he needed these done today. So we went ahead and bored the single bushing while he waited in his truck to go and smoke and it was done in 15 min . We texted him his total as paid in cash with sales tax or on card with sales tax and swipe fee - He asked "Why so much" and showed him our pricing that was 3 feet to his left on the wall "SHOP RATE" 1 to 18 min $51.00 + tax and card swipe fee if used - We then told him of the volume discount he had IF all 6 bushings would have been done. He then proceeds to ask for a "Military Discount"  which we do not offer. And for the record it was not .001 removal of material it was .062 removal and it was a heat treated bushing NOT super hard but enough.

Customer was wearing a Boeing shirt I guess that explains the measurement confusion. - or he wanted free work done - But he did say thanks for the help and have a good weekend -  Also "Customer service"  He came in discussed his problem and did not know what route to take prior to coming into the shop after discussing his problem over the phone and "attitude were poor at best"  You got your part as requested in a timely manor NO attitude problem other that NOT offering you a military discount. What is a bad attitude is leaving a a unfounded review by expecting a volume price for a single operation done.
