Lento Law Group Took my case, dragged it, then represented the defendants, and dropped my case Mt. Laurel New Jersey
My special needs daughter was sexually assaulted in the classroom, and she was afraid to tell us, and the school's attorney waited for weeks to notify us, but notified the perpetrator's mother right away. Once I found out, I called the sheriff's department, and a deputy came to the school to file a report. The school tried to cover it up, because it's a very small town, and the principal, among some others, are friends with the perpetrator's mother. I looked around for an attorney, and Lento Law Group took the case. I gave them all the evidence, medical records, and everything else they asked for, but they kept dragging their feet, and have been very hard, and impossible to contact. I was told I had a strong case, especially since my daughter has autism and how the school mishandled and tried to cover up everything. They kept dragging their feet and did nothing. Couldn't even get an answer, no matter how many times I called them, and left many messages. Then finally, after nearly two years, they decided to side with the school, and the sexual predator, and pretty much stabbed me in the back, as well as my daughter, and dropped the case, and sent me a "f**k you" letter. Saying statute of limitations on sexual assault is two years in my state, when in fact, my state unanimously passed a resolution, where there is no statute of limitations on sex crimes against children. Think twice before you might want to consult Lento Law Group, because they drag their feet, and will drop you and defend a sexual predator, and those who are complicit, which makes them complicit themselves. There is no justice if you have them on a case, they will drag their feet, to benefit the other party, and they possibly took a bribe from the school, to drop the case. They are the stereotype why you can never trust a lawyer. You're screwed if you want something done, especially by them. It's too much to ask for help, to seek justice.
