Mark Peterson - Ecom Blueprint Gold Class Masterclass

Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Mark Peterson is relatively a new-comer to the e-commerce marketing space since 2 years who is often found posting in ecom groups on facebook and attends various ecom events. He touts himself as a 7 figure earner with his ecom stores yet offers little if any evidence of proof. He had been posting offers to join his facebook mastermind gold class group which offers his detailed ecom trainings as well as having access to him via facebook chat for support and help along the way.

He boasts a zero refund rate out of some 10+ clents and several 7 figure earners and 6 figure earners as his clients for which he boldly claims their success is largely part of joining his private facebook mastermind group. I was looking into his services and got on a call with him to discuss which he calls a 'qualifying call' to see if I was suitable to join his gold class mastermind private facebook group for which he would mentor and offer some 50+ hours of video training that was totally unique to anything else being taught by so called ecom mentors.

The price was a 24 hour only deal for 50% off the normal price of USD $4,000 so for $2,000 then and there I could get access to join. Most other 7 figure earning ecom coaches charge a lot more for the same type of offer so to me I thought he was convincing enough to try it but ONLY under conditions that he offered me refunding if I felt that his training material which consisted of some 50+ hours of the latest methods and up to date video content was what he said it was and if I experienced itto be much like all the other training conent being taught by all the other 'ecom gurus' then he would refund me no problems as he didn't want my money or need to keep it.

I made clear of this that he understood I was advanced and had been through many different trainings from different ecom experts and he agreed to in a voice message and in writing via facebook chat with him. Also I had agreed to pay half of the 'special 50% discounted price' of USD $1,000 and he would allow me a few days to go through the content and if it was not to my expectations he would refund me. Or if I was happy with it then I just had to pay the other $1,000 within the week. He used pressure tactics and scarcity on me to get my money and the only way was to pay him through paypal sending to friends and family to avoid the extra fees. No company invoice or anything no website or order page just paypal sending.

2 days had passed after paying and agreeing these terms until I was able to go through some of the material training in video format. I skipped through and almost all of it was form last year and often 1 year old. Facebook ad methods change very rapidly so this was not what I expected. Also most of it was just like other training content I had learned from other ecom guru's and course creators. I quickly realized I had been misled and paid for just another rehashed training course that was outdated being 1 year old.

I immedaitely contacted a couple other members of the mastermind group to check if they paid the same or more. They paid the same and one said it was just false scarcity sales tactics used by him to get my money. One person had contacted Mark Peterson to tell on me how I asked them this question of amount paid for joining. I shortly had a very rude accusing message via facebook from Mark telling me how I has gone behind his back to contact other members to discuss joining fee. I was not told by him prior that doing this woud breach any rules of his group.

I raised the points about I was not happy with the training and it to be suitable for me to him and that I wanted refunding. This was today, just a couple days after paying him through paypal for the $1k and he got upset calling me a big scammer and how I was stealing his content and he was just very rude and over defensive. I simply asked to be refunded as agreed as I expected differently. He was abusive and rude in his response and went on and on making excuses and saying how he never agreed with me even after sending him his own voice recording he had sent me agreeing to the terms before I went ahead and sent him the $1k.

I told him he was being totally unreasonable and not keeping his agreement with me after he arrogantly stated how he didn't care and that I was the one trying to scam him and demanded that I pay him another USD $1,000 to regain access to the trainings and the group and him! He then proceeded on to delete me from the entire gold class mastermind group in facebook and unfriended me.

I am appalled in all the years of doing business online by his unprofessionalism and dishonest representation of someone who cares about others. This person should be avoided at all costs and is nothing but a lying scammer who is another wolf in sheeps clothing all posing as 7 figure expert in ecom. There are so many like him. Don't let his somewhat untarnished reputation fool you. It fooled me and cost me $1,000 of my hard earned money and left me with nothing but broken trust and a bad taste in my mouth where I could have paid someone worthy and honest for their services who genuinely cares about others success and not just ripping people off.

Ecom marketers beware of this wolf in sheeps clothing. Do not be in a rush to part with your money or you will get hustled like I did.

#2REBUTTAL Individual responds

This particular individual never paid full price, as they still owed $1000 as part of the agreed payment plan in which I do not normally provide for any students, however they were convincing in that they would pay the full amount within a couple of weeks and I was empathetic to their current "alledged" financial situation.

A refund was only requested after I confronted this individual, after complaints from other students that he was harassing them and taking advantage of them to do things such as getting them to do coding for him for free.

It wasn't until I confronted him that he said, "I don't think it's for me".

The request for a refund had absolutely nothing to do with the content, but simply due to the fact I confronted him about poor behaviour, which affected our strong culture. Prior to this incident, out of over 140 members we had a 0% refund rate, with nothing but positive feedback and testimonials.

They were in the mastermind long enough to download the content, but not long enough to actually go through it all. This instantly raised alarm bells.

Due to the fact that the request for a refund had nothing to do with the content or services provided, but rather an absurd personal reason, it was originally denied, in compliance with Australian Consumer Law for change of mind orders. This is due to the fact, that the services and content were delivered as described and as promised.

This particular person then threatened to blackmail me, by posting in another large Ecom group and online on websites such as this, tarnishing my name, if I didn't agree to refund him. Originally, I still refused, due to the fact I was not going to let somebody blackmail me into it. Eventually, I agreed due to the fact they were spreading damaging lies and the individual was provided with a full refund.

The content in the mastermind is constantly updated and expanded. With the support provided being second to none.

It is believed this particular individual took advantage of my empathetic nature to convince me into giving them a payment plan so they can get access for a fraction of the price, and then stay in long enough to download the content and then blackmail for their money back. They then charge others for "consulting". According to other sources who contacted me afterwards, they have a history of doing this and I unfortunately wasn't their first victim.

There are two sides to every story.

I would encourage anyone interested in joining the Gold Class Mastermind to actually message as many members as they like, and ask them for their honest opinions. I'm confident you will find they are the complete opposite of this one.

After going the route of posting to a larger group where I intially found the sellers post for the offer they realized their errors and contected me to confirm they would refund my money and that I remove the post exposing them. I have been issued refunding thru paypal from seller and wanted to update this.

I have not posted on this site before but after the way I was treated by seller I felt compelled to without realizing the inablity to remove this post. I make no apologies for this. I hope that anyone reading this or the seller understands the remifications of doing business in such a way that it creates negative experience for all involved. there are no winners here but I apreciate the seller for refunding me promptly.
