Our company, a foods distributor was royally ripped off by this father / son team of scammers who falsely represented themselves as exporters. They conned our sales staff and a manufacturer partner into selling them product at an incredibly discounted price (way below competitor market value under the false pretense that the product would be exported to poor communities in Spanish speaking countries.
Instead of "exporting" the goods to other countries our investigators learned that these cheats diverted the product into several U.S. cities and re-sold the product to existing customers, distributors and retailers thus undercutting every major wholesale distributor making an unreasonable profit while ruining the market and many distributor relationships.
When pressed to provide proof of exported shipments, both dad and son reneged and fought tooth and nail to avoid providing proof. They only sent over a disgusting excel file self-typed with made up numbers therefore raising a red flag.
We have hired a private investigator who is working with a major industry group and our attorneys are preparing a major lawsuit for damages. 
Our terms and conditions as well as every shipment sent to these cheaters included a disclaimer that was violated and we now have grounds to claim several hundred thousand dollars in discounts these crooks never qualified for.
