Bought a doll from them. It arrived in the time stated. However, after owning the doll for only 5 weeks (3 of which I was away from home); the hip joint became totally disconnected (broken) I contacted customer service and they asked me to sebd photos and video, which I did. .They said they would send a replacement ASAP. I waited 10 days. No updates. No tracking info on my fedex app. I politely inquired about tracking info. They just brushed me off with: you'll get it when we get it. Well, fedex is updated every few hours, so I know already that the doll had not shipped. So I told tgem they sold me a defective doll and I would be writing online reviews. Instead of offering a solution, stacey began to argue with me. So I filed a dispute with Paypal. She tgen threatened me, stating that if I did not close the dispute, she would have me blacklisted from ever buying a WM Doll again. I told her that paypal would close the dispute once it had been resolved. She refused to listen trying to intimidate me into closing the dispute. I fought with this stacey person all day. I offered her a simple resolution but she wanted to be stubborn. At 1 point, she offered me a 50% refund, which I declined. It's not my fault the doll was defective. I have copies of all communication with rlsd. Now I wait and see what paypal does.

I suspect that one happy customer is just an alternate account of RLSD.  Everyone knows that TDF is run by Doll Resellers and they delete all negative reviews.  We all know how these so called thousands of positive reviews are generated.

RLSD is the best doll seller hands down.  I have been buying from them for years.  I bought my first doll from them in 2016 and five more since and get all my doll care products come from them. They have never ever let me down either. I can always count on RLSD to look out for me and they are the friendliest and kindest bunch of people. I've talked with them on the phone many a time.  I read their reply too and I think Bobs not telling the truth here.  It doesn't add up.  I'm also a member of TDF and they are beloved there with the members.  Great experiences with RLSD.  Every time there has been an issue they have stepped up to the plate and hit it out of the park for the customer.  There are so many reports about how great they are. They have been around a very long time.  It looks like they were sending you a new doll when you filed a paypal dispute to let paypal decide. That's on you dude. Totally wasn't necessary at all.  You shot yourself in the foot! Why would you do that when they were making good on their promise to you? Sounds like a bonehead move to me. RLSD would have taken care of you if you had let them finish instead of making a dispute for no reason.  They also don't sell defective dolls. Not to say no doll is ever going to have an issue ever, but RLSD is well known for working with WM Doll who is the number one doll maker in the industry.  Your claim doesn't line up with 99.9% of people that think RLSD is awesome.  Might need to take a look at yourself dude. I honestly feel bad for RLSD having to deal with this nonsense.  Anyone reading this, take it from me, RLSD is the best doll seller around, you can't go wrong with them on your side!

 People don't care about the details of the dispute. What people take note of is how the company resolves disputes. What I'm seeing is rlsd promised to send a replacement. And now are refusing to do so. Instead of resolving the issue, they are trying to justify a reason for not resolving it. What potential customers will look at is this: does the customer have a legitimate complaint?..2. What has the company done to resolve it. Both parties agree that a replaceement was promised. So until a replacement is sent; the issue is unresolved.. I, for one, will not do business with a company who treats customers the way rlsd does. All they have done is attempt to discredit the customer. Nobody cares about this he said this; she .said that. Potential customers look at the facts. If you are a business owner or customer service representative; then you have to deal with all types of people. Some customers are difficult. You do what you have to in order to resolve the issue. rlsd's failure to resolve the issue tells me that they don't care about the custoner.

 Hey, Bob. You have thevemail where this company advised you to dispose of the item and promised to send a replacement. That email is a legally binding contract. You should talk to an attorney and take them to court for breech of contract.

The last email I  received stated that I would receive the item by Jun 19th. I waited till the 20th to file a dispute. SRLSD attempted to bully me into closing the dispute.  I told them once she showed proof that the item had been shipped, Paypal would put a hold on the dispute.  She became unreasonable, threatening and harassing me.  I never received any email stating that the item would be shipped on the 19 th. If RLSD is having problems with her email server, that is on them.  I check my emails regularly.  Also, I work offshore. So for of the 8 weeks I had thhe item, I was actually only in posession of it for 2 weeks.  It took me a couple of weeks after reporting the issue to send photos and video because I was already on my way to work.

The item broke due to a defect in the manufacturing/welding process. I work offshore. Part of my job consists of routine inspections of welded pipe joints, etc. to assure structural integrity.  The only thing that would cause a new weld to break is that the weld was defective from the factory. Either the weld was defective, or the components holding the structure together were not of sufficient strength to support the weight for which it was intended.

 

I tried to reason with RLSD, but they woudl not listen. They  know that once I close a dispute with Paypal, I cannot re open it. I paid almost 2,000 for the item.  RLSD's lack of concern for my issue and poor customer service skills is what led to the dispute.  They only started emailing me after I filed a dispute with paypal.

 

I am also a front line customer service rep for a multi billion dollar corporation.  You have to communicate with your customers.  When you ask for an update, and all they tell you is: you will get it when I get it; that is not sufficient communication.  RLSD should have given me more information.

 

Also, if it had shipped on the 19 th, I would have had tracking info through fedex within a couple of hours of the item being shipped. I waited until the 20 th. No tracking info. No updates from RLSD.  They could have told me it is scheduled to be shipped. Or it is delayed. Or whatever the case may be.  But instead, they chose to ignore my concerns.  I suspect they had no intentions of sending a replacement. They were just buying time until the deadline to file a dispute with paypal passed. 

If you pay 2,000 for something; you would expect better customer service from the company you bought it from.  RLSD needs serious improvement in their customer service department.

We appreciate your understanding as we address this claim made against us. After an extensive review, it's clear that this claim is based on misrepresented facts and misunderstandings. Our primary goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly, which we attempted to do in this case.

We are proud to have garnered well over a thousand 5-star reviews and countless testimonials from satisfied customers. This overwhelmingly positive feedback has earned us an outstanding reputation for exemplary customer service within our industry. Unfortunately, the current situation represents a rare divergence, stemming from misunderstandings and overlooked communications.

The customer reported an issue with the doll's leg after a significant duration of two months (March 20th - May 22nd, 62 days) after receiving the doll. During this time, the cause of the breakage remains unknown. It could have resulted from mishandling or an accidental event. It took over 2 more weeks for the customer to send us the photos/video that we requested showing the issue, and even despite the lack of clarity regarding the cause of the damage, on June 9th, we offered to immediately ship a replacement doll as a gesture of good faith. At the customer's request, however, we agreed to delay the shipment until June 19th to accommodate his schedule. 

Our team responded promptly to each communication on the same day, in the same email thread, agreeing to the customer's timeline and ensuring the initiation of the shipment on the requested date by WM Doll. It's important to note here that WM Doll is based in China, with a 12-hour time difference from their in-stock warehouse in California. Therefore, the shipment could reasonably take 1-2 days to be completed, just as the original in-stock doll shipment did.

Unfortunately, before this process could be completed, the customer prematurely filed a dispute at 8 AM on June 20th. This action was taken without proper consideration of our communication and efforts to resolve the situation. The customer further exacerbated the situation with threats and harassment, leaving us with no option but to retract our goodwill offer and formally respond to the PayPal dispute.

We maintain our professionalism even as the customer's behavior continues to escalate, with threats and defamation attempts. In light of the circumstances, including the two months he had the doll and the uncertainty around the cause of the damage, we proposed a fair offer of a 50% refund. The customer declined our offer and has since engaged in ongoing disparagement by spreading false claims about our company across the internet, in an apparent attempt to tarnish our respected reputation.

We are committed to ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and will always strive to find a solution that suits all parties. We hope that this statement clarifies the situation and illustrates our ongoing commitment to fair and respectful business practices.

Defective Weld

 RLSD continues to sell defective products. The hip joints breaking is a common problem due to defective welds. The skeleton supports the tpe. I work in the oilfield industry. Anyone who knows anything about welding knows that RLSD 's claim that the weld broke because of torn tpe is totally absurd.
