The claims adjustor Kalli Marcontini is being very unfair when evaluating my underinsured motorist claim. I was recently involved in a car accident with my small children in the car. The at fault party has agreed to pay their policy limits. Kalli does not care about the negative impact this accident has had on my family.

She is very mean and keeps lying to save the company money. She does not realize that a lawsuit will pay out more than what we are currently asking for. USAA is a dishonest company who takes consumer funds and does not act in good faith. They do not advocate for miltary families as their television ads and online mission states. This company is worth over $260,000,000,000 (two hundred sixty billion) dollars. Why are they low balling my family and I? Why are they treating us this way? Can anyone else relate?

What are the signs of bad faith?

Sign 1) Refusal to Pay a Claim Without a Reasonable Basis

Sign 2) Refusal to Properly Investigate Your Claim In A Timely Manner

Sign 3) The Insurance Company Tries to Settle for Less than You Deserve

Sign 4) Your Insurer Demands a Stupid Amount of Paperwork or Evidence

Kalli Marcontini of USAA continues to contradict herself asking for ridiculous amounts of paper work. She is also saying that I am not covered for medical damages. This is false because I have uninsured motorist coverage. I am entitled to policy limits, in addition to the at fault carriers policy limits. Why offer this if you are not going to allow members to take advantage of the coverage when they are involved in an accident?

The Golden Rule is to treat others as you would like to be treated. If Kalli was in a car accident, how would she like it if I gave her a low ball amount? Why do they say that our medical damages, pain and suffering do not mean anything? Why do they keep asking me to provide pay stubs and additional paperwork when I already provided medical records and notes from the incident?

I am ready to file a lawsuit.

Does anyone have referrals to a great attorney with experience in filing a lawsuit against USAA or any insurance company for acting in bad faith?
