I am reaching out to express my deep frustration and disappointment with Walmart.com, based on my experiences over the past two years. The most notable incident occurred on Cyber Monday, November 27, 2023. I attempted to purchase two Frigidaire 7.0 Cu. ft. Chest Freezers at a special sale price, but my order was unexpectedly blocked. This blockage happened without any prior notification, leading to financial loss as the price increased by $35 each when I finally noticed.
Further aggravating this situation was the response from Walmart's customer service. On December 1, 2023, a representative assured me that the original sale price would be honored the following Friday. Unfortunately, this promise was not fulfilled, adding to my disappointment.
This experience is not isolated. Over the years, my wife and I have faced several instances where our purchases were unjustly blocked. Each time, we received little to no valid explanation from Walmart. This pattern of behavior has caused us significant inconvenience and distress, particularly as we rely on online shopping for essential items due to my wife's health conditions.
I am reporting this to highlight the ongoing issues with Walmart.com, including the lack of transparency and accountability in their online operations. It is crucial for consumers to be aware of these potential challenges when dealing with Walmart's online platform.
As someone who takes care of my wife, who has serious health issues, reliable online shopping is crucial for us. We used to rely on Walmart.com, but these experiences have left us feeling let down.
