We are a company based in the US and recently had a highly disappointing experience with Sanjay Mark Ballav, CEO of Web Development India, a company based in Indore, India. We had engaged their services and made a prompt, upfront deposit of 40% of the total agreed price for the development of a website. Unfortunately, after issuing a notice to proceed, we had to cancel the contract just five days later when Web Development India informed us that they could not develop the code for some of the scope of work that was previously agreed upon in the contract.
Despite the contract cancellation and the fact that no work had been performed, Web Development India refused to return our deposit. We repeatedly requested a refund, but they blatantly stated that they will not return the money. We had a clause in the contract for such terminations, but Mr. Sanjay Ballav did not honor it.
To make matters worse, we discovered that the company is operating Wed Development India using another company’s GSTIN, 23AADCW3697H1Z2, which belong to Webnomysis Private Limited, a different company created by Mr. Sanjay Ballav. This misleading information constitutes fraud; it can be verified by accessing the Goods and Services Tax website of the Government of India at https://services.gst.gov.in/services/searchtp. They are using deceptive practices to conduct their business, putting clients at significant risk.
We strongly advise potential clients to be cautious and avoid any dealings with Mr. Sanjay Mark Ballav, Web Development India, or Webnomysis Private Limited. Their unethical behavior and fraudulent practices should not be overlooked. Ensure to thoroughly vet any company before entering into agreements or making any payments, especially if you are a company operating outside of India.
