I Hired Wordstream/LocaliQ based on their claims that they were marketing experts in generating appropriate leads. Initially, I thought that they would be generating appointments on my calendar. It turned out that they provided leads for me to followup. Misunderstanding on my part. They generated approximately 35 leads in a month of advertising. Not bad.

However, after trying to contact the leads by phone and a series of emails, both personally, and using a professional, lead followup service, only 1 out of the entire batch was made contact with and it was not the right demographic. Bottom Line zero results.

When I realized this, I cancelled the contract and was hit with an outrageous cancellation charge which amounted to 3 full months of service charges. READ THE CANCELLATION CHARGES SCHEDULE WHICH IS BURIED IN FINE PRINT BEFORE HIRING THEM. IT IS OUTRAGEOUS.

While working with them, it became apparent that they had way too many people working on the project with very little communication and zero testing of their designs. Communication was difficult and flexibility was non-existant. The project went live way before it was ready, which is when the billing starts. The project was not ready at that time.

I asked for a refund for that billing and was refused.

Overall, they talk a good game, their execution is very poor, and their cancellation charges are outrageous.

Note: These comments are directed to the LocaliQ part where they implement the program. The design of the landing page was fine and was charged separately. That part was done by Wordstream and passed on to LocaIQ as part of the overall implementation.
