US Search "USSEARCH.COM" - no results - fooled and ripped off

Okay,here it is in a nutshell. I am a WTC survivor and currently am not working. So, therefore I am not in a situation to waste money as you can understand. I went to www.ussearch.com in a desperate attempt trying to contact an old friend of my mothers. And to no avail, after $80.oo later(EIGHTY DOLLARS)I have found no results.
My mother and I have filed the application out properly and correctly. USSseach has done nothing and I personally feel that I have been ripped off. I gave my account number to USSearch to find out information about my mothers friend.
I hope you can understand my plea because I went onto the internet and gave my credit card number and OBVIOUSLY, now I AM Worried because again, to no avail USSearch will do nothing for me, When I called the number (877.327.2410 or there is another number 877.327.2450)there apparently wasnt a supervisor/Manager around While the customer Service Rep. ("Robert Strand @ext# 2032)when I called and had to claim that I was fooled and ripped off, because I received nooo information, as to why I could not get MY information that I paid Eighty Dollars for.
Mr. Robert Stand offered me after I was complaining for about 15 minutes Mr. Strand offered2 me 25% off... which would mean because he calculated it and actually said I would get $14.98 back. So basically I wasted $65.00. I happend to do a rush delivery to pay $20.00 EXTRA within an hour. So,"Mr. Strand" said that the only thing he could do for me being there was not a Supervisor/Manager around. But, I will not ACCEPT $15.00 back. My mom and I do not think that is a fair deal. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
I also tried to find out the Corporate number but again....did not succeed into my endeavor to do so. I hope that this will make a difference in anything I have written.

US Search is all over the Internet, and I have seen their ads on Oprah, Maury and other day time Talk Shows on television. Essentially, they are Information Brokers - they are reselling different types of mostly public information to you....for a price. US Search as well as many other similar services is not your Private Investigator or Police Detective - they take the information that you give them, process it through the appropriate data base, and send you whatever comes up - that's it. They are not giving you FACTS - they and all the others are giving you RAW DATA. As they say in the computer field - GIGO -GARBAGE IN - GARBAGE OUT. Many times, they and the other brokers may return some good information, but it is up to YOU to VERIFY what they tell you. None of these sites are "up to the minute" data bases, they ARE NOT linked to government agencies, and are not the C.I.A. People talk about losing $80., $75. $50. - - GROW UP - What did you expect US Search to do for less than a hundred dollars. A REAL investigator would charge you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to locate someone, or obtain the kind of information you want. For $80. bucks - its a CRAPSHOOT; maybe their search will find what/who you want, and maybe they won't. But you only get what you pay for.

Lee Anne Concheiro Is a threepeat felon who does nothing but scheme her way through life. She is a notorious thief who thinks nothing of cheating landlords and anyone else she possibly can. In the past 2 year she has paid only two months'rent. She is currently fraudulently recieving government assistance and has outstanding Credit card balances with no less than 6 major credit card companies as well as the Internal Revenue Service. Under no circumstances should anyone rent to this person or put any financial trust in her. The fact that this person would seek to make a rip off complaint as to a legitamate comapany is much the same as the pot calling the kettle back.
