Contracted PackRat Moving and Storage for a relocation from Nevada to Texas. The cost was more than renting a U-Haul or Budget truck but thought it would be FAR less stressful than moving everything myself. I was promised a delivery date of the 1st of July so I could take my time in finding a place to rent.
On June 25th, a Friday, I contacted 1800PackRat to give them the address to deliver my container and was informed that they could NOT locate it and it seems to be LOST. Dale, the rep, told me he would find it and call me back in a few minutes. Two hours later, I called Dale back and got his voicemail. I called back on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, all to NO avail. Finally on Tuesday, the 29th, Dale calls.
My container has been found and is on its way to Texas! I gave him a small piece of my mind for leaving me hanging for FOUR days and gave him the address to have my belongings delivered. Now, the container cannot be delivered for over another 10 days? It was delivered on the 16th and picked up on the 18th.
Much to my dismay, 1800PackRat even charged me an additional $193 in claiming that my 30 days had passed. They claim they will refund as of this morning, Really? Beware of this company! Satisfaction is Guaranteed? REALLY?
