1File.Org RIpped Off by 1File, posing as Obama Student Loan Forgiveness Huntington Beach California
I was contacted by 1 File to see if I qualified for a student loa debt forgiveness program. The cgent explained that they could reduce my payments as well as the terms of the contract to save me thousands of dollars.
The con artist was very nice at first and explained that Sallie Mae and Dept of Education were all rip off artitsts which is why he convinced me to trust him.
The agent asked for my credit card so that they could immediately start making payments and getting me out of debt.
Needless to say, no payments were made and my student loan fell behind.
I called 1 File.org and they assured me that it was just a fluke in the system with getting my account updated but payments had been made to the Dept of Education on my bealf. These were all lies!! Payment was never made and 1 File.Org collected several payments from my account.
When I called to cancel I was told that my money would be refinded back to me; however 6 months later that has not occured and I have been given the run around by several of there employees.
I am going to take legal action.
This company is a scam and they refused to give me information on how to contact their corporrate office. When speaking with Chi she was very rude and aggressive.
