Thaddeus Gravo used to be the president of 1st defense security which has been closed and has now opened stability home protection.
I filed a suit against 1st defense security and thaddeus gravo after mr gravo defaulted on a one year contract for services rendered to his company.
I exhausted every means to settle with mr gravo but was met with silence until the day I finally had to take him to court and exhausted every other avenue to resolve his contractual obligations. I told mr gravo that I would settle with him for what he owed me if he did not force me to take him to court for half.
mr gravo did not return phone calls, emails, or registered mail concerning the debt. in precourt mediation, once mr gravo realized that he had no chance of winning the case, he laughed at me in the presence of the mediator and said (good luck trying to collect your money).
I believe, based on the way that I was treated by him that he has said this numerous times to numerous people.
I was assured by mr. gravo when he entered into a binding contract with my company that he was not like the rest of the security companies out there. Sam, his right hand, also told me that they pay their debts and that there wasn't going to be an issue with them not paying me for my services.
Thaddeus decides to just stop paying me, answering phone calls, emails, voicemails etc 2 months into a 12 month contract and so here we are today.
1st defense is shut down and a new company opened and not one ounce of effort has been put into theadeus taking responsibility for his debt.
I read negative reports about mr gravo and 1st defense security on rip off report and I have found the attitude of mr gravo to be in line with what I have read.
I dont' believe that mr gravo is willing or desirous to pay his obligations, at least in my case, this has proved to be true.
I hope that no one has to suffer the same kind of dealings with mr gravo that I have. It is a shame that the security industry that I have been a part of for 25 years has morphed into the kind of business that mr gravo takes pride in operating.
