3D MOTORS and Financial General INC Bad business practices ripping off consumers tampa Florida
I financed a car. The salesman at 3D Motors first applied my first week's payment towards my down payment and did not tell me. they repossessed the car the first week. Financial General said that was their mistake and would "work with me" and wave the repo fee and we could pay off the tax and title by making extra payments each week. I did that. they took the car again and now state I missed payments, which I never missed one. They tried to say because their debt card machine processes payments slowly the payment was not received until the next day. It came out my bank account so they were paid every time. The company kept telling me to call back and each time they stated a different reason as to why this was done. They blamed it on their corporate office, then it was the debt card machine, and then it was tax and title. they now want $700 to get my car back. They had no valid reason to take it in the first place. I also need to pay to get my stuff out of the car since I had no warning I will have to pay it. I am looking for legal consul because this is so wrong. It truly blows my mind that a company can do this.
