7th Avenue Monroe 7th Avenue the biggest scam of 2012 Monroe, Wisconsin
I have also been a victim of 7th Avenue Monroe Wisconsin. This company sent me a catalog stating my credit limit is $400. After making a selection of a massage chair I received a letter in the mail stating I had to put at least 10% down before purchasing this item. My credit is not the best but it is not the worst either; nevertheless, I complied with the 10%. Two weeks later I called and was told the item was not processed yet and would be a couple days before shipping. I called back the following week and was now told the item is no longer available.
I was upset considering my back injury and this chair would have helped a great deal. I had a few choice words for this company. I was then told I could exchange my order for something else since the chair was out of stock, and of course they still had my down payment of $40. I stated that I would call back later, let me look through the catalog. Thereafter, I called and made a selection of different items and was told these items were out of stock as well. Mind you...at this time my money has been tied up with this company for over a month and a half. I finally made a selection of items and was told someone would call me in 48 hours to confirm shipment.
After 72 hours I had not received a call from 7th Avenue and decided to call them. I was told a letter was sent stating I would have to put 25% down before the order can be processed. This company has held my money and I assume many others as well. Money is interest. This company is SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! in the worst form. We need to get in touch with the Attorney General of Wisconsin. Many people are complaining here on Ripoff report but think of the many people who do not know about ripoff report. Right now I want my money back immediately...I do not have money to be tied up into no ones stock market, bonds, savings, etc.
