A-AAA Auto Transport - McManus Trucking Enterprises ripoff severe body mechanical damage; late delivery; poor customer service Valley Stream , Citrus Heights New York, California
First, to all unsuspecting consumers, do not sign anything that gives away a right to claim damages.
I used the internet to find an auto transport company, this company, A-AAA Auto Transport, took a deposit nearly eight weeks before my car was to be shipped and promised me dates to move my car. They were two weeks late in picking up my car, and the company they contracted through didn't pick it up. Some towing company took it to a lot where the trucking company, McManus Trucking Enterprises, of Citrus Heights CA picked it up to be delivered nine days later.
In that span of nine days and between the towing company and the trucking company, my car incurred over $8000 worth of body and mechanical damage. however, the damage was UNDER my car, so it wasn't until they had dropped it off and left, and I had signed a Bill of Landing, that literally the undercarriage of my car and all associated lines, hoses, etc FELL OFF and I was stranded on the highway. My car is brand new and they destroyed it.
Neither company has returned any of my phone calls or faxes. Make sure you do a complete walk around and drive your car when its delivered BEFORE you sign off or pay them any money. Also take photos before they pick it up. I have learned the hard way. These people don't care at all about what is valuable to you and they have NO ACCOUNTABILITY. Find someone you trust to drive your car wherever it needs to go, I have now been without my car for nearly two months and thousands of dollars later. Do not deal with these two companies. They don't care about the customer or your car!!
