These predators stole my car and said it had been abandoned at a closed business site across from Six Flags for more than 4 hours when in fact had only been there less than three.  Charged almost $250.00 to get it back.

The driver was simply scanning for cars, loading them up on his tow truck, dropping them off at the compound, going back and getting some more.  There is no electronic or photographic devices used to time how long each car is in an abandoned parking lot.

It is simply up to the drivers discretion at which car he steals and puts up for ransom.

I hope you got to read what some lying scumbag named Eric stated in his rebuttal to me, claiming to be a competitor of A-AArlington towing company.  That jerk probably owns the company.  Anybody that has dealt with these pirates know what they are doing is unethical.  It is stealing, pure and simple.

Somebody has to stand up to these pirates.  The City of Arlington's police force simply stand by and let it happen.  So I am guessing that their hand is in the cookie jar with these thieves, or maybe apathy.  They should have been out of business a long time ago.

This company has a sign in their office stating to some effect: " Be nice to others when dealing with employee personnel".  But it their car was snatched I doubt they would have the same attitude.  I also have read that organized crime is involved in these types of companies.  Wouldn't surprise me in the least.

My wife and I put in a report to the BBB.  The BBB waited for their response to my complaint.  Of course these liars are going to say that they didn't do anything wrong or unethical.  Duh!   So the BBB sided with these pirates based on their word!  hahahahaha.    So, we felt there was no where else to go with the complaint.  So these dirty scum-suckers get to ply their trade ripping off more victims unchecked, thanks to the BBB!

Like I mentioned earlier, people need to make a stand to get change in this system.  Folks are getting fed up with these unethical practices and also puts a black eye on communities getting scammed.  Thanks for the good news in winning your law suit.   You have put them in the proper light and have further exposed them as the thieves they truly are!

Illegally Towed from Dennys in Arlington TX - I WON!!

#3Consumer Suggestion

Thu, October 18, 2012

I was illegally towed from Dennys, across from Six Flags Over Texas 8/29/2009.  After getting nowhere, I contacted a great tow attorney based out of Houston that specialized in tow cases.  I found him on the Internet.  After we filled a complaint with Texas Department of License and Regulations, TDLR, they took our case to the State Office of Administrative Hearings, SOAH.   After a few weeks from the SOAH hearing on 10/3/2012, SOAH found A-AArlington towed my car illegally because there was not proper signage on the Dennys Parking Facility.  During the same hearing, SOAH also found A-AArlington towed a second vehicle illegally in Arlington.

General Manager J Austin of A-AArlington and his crooked attorney Grey Pierson committed perjury by lying under oath.  I have audio of General Manager J Austin stating under oath that he worked as the General Manager of A-AArlington for 12 years and would allow tows regardless of proper tow signage.  He stated that he Did Not understand the Texas tow laws.

If A-AArlington has one more illegal tow on their record, they will lose their license!!!  If you were wrongfully towed by A-AArlington, also known as Straw-K Inc, and would like to Help put tow pirates A-AArlington Out of Business, visit the following URL and talk to the tow attorney who helped me with my illegal tow.

http://www.illegaltowingintexas.com/A-AArlington-Abandoned-Vehicle.html

Tip:  Take pictures of the parking facility before you park and right after you find yourself illegally towed, take lots of pictures from all angles of the Parking Facility.  In my tow hearings, A-AArlington never had proper tow signage in the back entrance of the Dennys Parking Facility.  By law, all entrances must have a Tow Sign.  Don't park in an area that has proper tow signs places on the parking facility.  Hope this helps!

In Texas if you are towed, There is 2 resources available to the the consumer.
#1: A non-profit consumer advocacy group}.  (((link redacted)))
#2: Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation}.  http://www.license.state.tx.us/search/search.asp?zoom_query=towing+complaint

A person who has been towed has a right to a tow hearing and before they go on this site or any other site, I "professionally suggest" that they use either of these 2 recommended web sites to see first hand if they have been illegally towed.

I am a competitor of this mentioned company, and as their competitor this site helps me in obtaining new clients. BUUUUUUUT!  I have dignity and my parents raised me to be honest and humble.

This complaint is is unfair and non-specific about any unethical or law breaking practices. I know the manager of this company and he is very honest, if anything that I can add is that out of all my competitors, this man I can actually respect.

My company has been in business for 30 years doing the same service, and knock on wood I have never been listed here and we also hold an A+ Rating with the BBB.

I only mention this about my company because I wish to validate that my reply is fair and respectful of the complainant and my competitor.  A word from a Towing Company owner;  "Read the Towing Signs" they should be posted at each entrance leading into the parking facility.

Also it does not matter if your vehicle was parked for 5 seconds, once you get out of site the wrecker has every legal right to immediately tow an illegally parked vehicle.
