Hi, I am an attorney who was also victimized by this company. So far it has been four months since my wedding, and we still have not received our video. Plus, the dj we bought showed up to the reception intoxicated and unable to perform most of his duties. I'd like to file a class action against this company, but I need to know if they're a complete scam or if they're just really really really slow. Did you ever receive your wedding video? Are you in contact with anyone else who has been scammed by this company? Please send your responses to (((ROR REDACTED))) CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.

I would love for you to look into A Solid Gold Sound wedding videographer and dj service. They have several locations across the US, all which seem to be equally as shady as the one in Atlanta. We contacted ASGS because we saw them advertised on theknot.com wedding website and we wanted an affordable video of our wedding day. We just wanted the basics, nothing fancy. They were very nice and helpful upfront; sending out a dvd of their services, along with a nice packet, etc. We signed up for the service and a videographer did show and supposedly filmed our wedding and reception.... I wasnt particularly happy with the professionalism of the videographer... he seemed very young (which isnt necessarily a problem), but along with the youth seemed to come unprofessionalism and several smoke breaks. AGAIN.... I wasnt thrilled with the guy, but I just basically wanted a video of the wedding and reception so we could see the parts we missed, etc so I didn't get upset about him. THEN after waiting the mandatory 8-10 weeks after the wedding to receive my wedding video.... and not receiving anything... we called and called and e-mailed and received no response. My husband kept calling and calling until he finally got to talk to "ROB" who is supposed to be in charge of wedding videos that have already been done.... Rob said he would look into and get back to us... he never did... We continued to investigate and found out more and more shadiness with this company.... their addresses correlate to ups stores, they try very hard to keep from giving out any "real" contact info... we were given a false last name for who we think is the owner, along with a incorrect mailing address for him. We think the owner is John Kruer, who is in the Cincinnati/ Northern Ketucky area. After looking into this we get more and more discouraged, there is negative info all over the place on how this company has scammed brides and grooms. They have stolen our wedding memories and our money and we don't want it to happen to anyone else. The wedding business is a big money maker for alot of people.... the prices are marked up for just about everything concerning a wedding... which is bad enough when you actually receive the service, but when you get absolutely nothing for the money you spend .... its deplorable.... and these people should be stopped!

I'm in the middle of going through all of the same issues as everyone else w/ this company. No need to even get into it but luckily my fiance and I still have time to get another videographer. I don't know how we missed all the terrible posting about them. We would love to get in on a suit or just track this John down and have a field day w/ his face. I would DARE John to reply to any of this; not sure how he sleeps at night but I'd like to make it more uncomfortable.
