I bought one volume from A1Books and now they want to spam me for the rest of my life with reminders about their stupid reward points system. I go to their web site and find there's no way to close my account, no way to change my email address, no customer service phone number, and no way to send them an email. (The only address listed on the site is [email protected], which bounces.) Their so-called "Help Desk" is only for tracking orders; it provides no help and no way to ask a question.
I've never seen a company with such contempt for its customers. Avoid them at all costs.

The email address provided by Dave is not a secret. It is the email address that is given to all the sellers who sell on A1books.com Marketplace. It is set up to help with technical issues. Buyers are asked to go to support.a1books.com as that is where the customer service team looks at tickets and responds.
Our marketplace manager reviews all the feedback left on our site and when she saw Dave's she emailed him to help him out. It was then where he believed he found a secret email when again it's just set up to help the sellers on our site.

Although A1Books goes to great lengths to keep customers from emailing them, when I gave them a negative seller rating they contacted me with a From address of [email protected] and a Return-Path of [email protected]. So that's one way to reach them, even if they don't want to hear from you.
