I paid $600 with a family plan for 2 blackberry phones:

The offer says I get blue tooth wirelese headset, plus $600 in Mail in Rebates.

I order on Nov 16th 2005

I have submitted all mail in rebates in time and followed up with them via www.cellphonerebates.com and also tried 1866 800 4303

I confirmed they have received my rebates and in process, its been 8 months.

On the rebates it clearly says that with in 12 weeks of submission. And last week when I called they said yes it is processed and also approved check willl arrive in 2 weeks.

And yesterday(07/19/2006) I called and they are saying they have all the rebates data from there computers and now they have to reprocess again.

It's after 8 months now they want to reprocess everything.

This is colpletely unacceptable.

Last week when I called they said I will get only 300 dollars for the rebates and the other 300 dollars is rejected, because I have not taken the voice and data service which is OK, I don't have problem with that.

But the $300 which I should receive by now. For that also they are cheating.

Please if anyone is willing to go for suing this company, please do contact me in this regard. this is nothing bu cheating you. I have all the confirmation numbers etc of my approval of the rebates for $300.

I am so much pissed off with them would like to proceed further and don't want to wuit on this.

Praveena, you are not alone! The Office of the Attorney General, Washington D.C. (the headquarters of Inphonic, Inc., the parent company of A1 Wireless) is suing the company in September regarding this company's business practices. Anyone who has been scammed by this company should contact the Washington D.C. Attorney General's office as soon as possible in order to be included in this lawsuit (the lawsuit is not limited to people living in the D.C. area).
