In July of this year, we had our transmission rebuilt at Aamoco in Allentown, (Chevy Avalanche 2005 - Z 71) paid $2700 -, after a 12,000 miles is gone, now as a "curtesy" they can fx it for only $1400 I am looking for people with the same problem to file a class action lawsuit.

Class Actions lawsuits are rarely taken by a firm on anything other than a contingency basis and the potential outcome must bear the cost of litigation. While a class action seems an appropriate manner in which to hold a business liable to a class of consumers (all injured in a similar manner) this method rarely benefits the members of the class with adequate compensation. Rather, the attorneys involved will enter into a settlement arrangement almost as soon as the class action is certified by the court. The class members will be nickled and dimed for the majority of the settlement in the form of "expenses" and most often are lucky to walk away with more than a few hundred dollars. The business involved rarely admits any legal liability in the settlement and settles to simply make the action go away. If you really want compensation, you are better suited filing a private action if you indeed have provable damages.

I believe that you are right about a class action suit I believe we have enough evidence. I am fed up with them. Mike CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.
