Aamco Transmissions Ripoff said they fixed it, i got charged but they didnt fix it! Auburn Washington
Approximately, 6-7 months ago i had the transmission looked at cuz it was making a noise, or i thought it was the tranny, i took it too aamco, & they said the whole tranny needed a rebuild after buying the car, 4 months prior? It was a used 98 acura integra, so i TRUSTED them, & said fix it.
So, i forked out 2500 bux to have it fixed, & at first it seemed alright then bout 1 week later i noticed the noise again, & they proceeded to tell me it was the wheel bearing?
After having the car looked at by a few other shops, it was NOT the transmission or the wheel bearing, it was simply a bushing for the motor mount. After 6 different times of taking ti too aamco, they said that there was nothing wrong. I filed a BBB, complaint, & they still couldnt resolve the issue.
Now, here i am, as i laid low on the whole thing, for a little while, It has not even been 1 year, it has only been bout 7-8 months, since the rebuild, & it appears that the transmission is going bad, it doesnt shift right, sometimes doesnt go into gear, & sometimes pops out of gear.
Now, 7-8 months later i am consulting with an attorney, to have this issue resolved, as aamco transmission doesnt know how to fix transmissions, & apparently, according to acura, it is possible, that the clutch that they supposedly replaced, is NOT a new clutch, it is the stock clutch that was in there before!
DO NOT go to aamco transmissions, your better off finding someone else, as they dont know there head from there a*s.
