On May 14, 2001, I called Aamco at 9:45 a.m. and talked to Billy. He said Debra was gone because they had a lot of problems and complaints with her and that he was now the manager. I asked him for all the copies of paperwork for everything that had been done to my car. He said I should have copies of those. I said that I had the first invoice and receipt but that was all that was given to me. I didn't receive any paperwork for the 2nd and 3rd time they had my car. He refused to give me copies of any paperwork. He said that if I would bring the car back in, he would fix it and agreed to pay my rental for a mid size car. I called Billy back again on May 15, 2001 in the morning. He said he would call Enterprise and see they had a mid-size car so I could leave work at 4:00 and take my car to Aamco and have the rental for me to get back home. He said he would call me back and let me know. He never called so I called him at 4:00 and asked if he had called Enterprise. He said no because he had just seen that I had reported Aamco to Rip Off.com and said he was not going to set up the rental car, that I could do it myself since I was such the business woman. He was very rude. He threatened me with a lawyer because of this report because of the "misquotes" but would not go into detail about what he thought I misquoted. Now I'm supposed to take my car back to someone that's pissed off because I reported their negligence and rude customer care? I have 3 children that travel in this car and two are handicapped. I think as a consumer, I have the right to make a report when I am unsatisfied with the service I am receiving.
