I have been dealing with Aaron's for many years now and up until moving to the Dallas area have not had any problems....but, the store I am dealing with now in Richardson is the most dis-honest store I have ever seen. I purchased a TV from them and it was having problems. It was sent out and returned 3 weeks later in even worse shape then before. Not only was it not repaired, but it was filthy!! There was grease all over it!! I called the store back and spoke with the manager. He told me they would be out the next day to pick it up. They never showed up. I then took it back to the store. The manager said he would send it back out and let me know what was going on.

After weeks of not hearing from the manager I contacted him back again. He said he did not know if it could be fixed or not. I told him if this was the case that I wanted another TV in the same good shape that mine was in before I sent it for repair - yeah, it was in better shape when it was broke. He told me to come into the store and he had one. I went in and the one he had was horrible, scratched and lousy picture. He assured me he would get one in. After a few more weeks I called him again. Guess what? Different manager. He said the manager before him had really messed things up and he would take care of it. He sent me to another store about 20 miles up the road who he said he had talked to and they had a good TV. I drove up to the store and the manager had no clue what I was talking about. The TV he had up there was also in lousy shape.

I decided to contact the regional manager - Donald Johnson. He assured me he would look into it. After a week or so he got back to me and told me that this TV was no longer being manufactured and that they had to special order the part and assured me it would be fixed. He told me it could take up to 6 weeks. Well I waited about 6 weeks and went back up to the store. Guess what - same manager - but now saying he had no idea about my TV and did not even know if it could be fixed. I asked him what should I do and he just shrugged. I asked for the regional managers number again and he gave me some phony number that yelled at me for calling it - so I called the customer service number.

When I called and spoke with customer service they assured me that the regional manager would get back to me within 24 hrs. I guess I forgot to ask when the 24 hrs would start because it took a few days. Donald called me back finally and assured me he would look into it again. This was the beginning of last week. He told me that he would get in touch with me this week and if they still showed the part on back order with no idea when it may come in then they would get me a new TV set. He absolutley promised me it would be settled this week. Well, at 4:59 pm on Friday afternoon I received an email from him stating that they were still showing the part on back order and he was giving them until the end of the month - yes- another month to see if they would get the part.

I am totally at a loss of what to do now. If anyone can help me please let me know.
