I ordered a Estaban guitar from ABC distributing the price was 79.99 I had a credit limit of 100.00.. I recieved a email saying that this order was over my credit limit, They would not complete my order unless I prepaid the order... Ok, so I prepaid the order because this was a present for my sons birthday. The money was deducted from my account then I checked on the status of the account and to my suprise the order was cancelled after they recieved the money. I contact their customer service to see why the order was cancelled and they said that I needed to pay for it first (that was already paid) I tried to explain this to the CS rep but she wouldnt listen so I sent her the email showing her the order was paid and she said oh yeah the guitar is here we will ship it out. I thought it was over but still two weeks later we still had not recieved the item. I called again only to find out the reorder was cancelled again. I was really upset then and asked to speak to a supervisor.. I dont think who I spoke with was a supervisor just a different rep who was so rude it was unreal. But the order was resent. It took over 60 days after my sons birthday for us to recieve the guitar and it was damaged when we got it (a small dent in the front and scratches on the back) We kept the item.. But this lady will never place another order with ABC again.

As the Executive Director in charge of the Office Administration at abc, I want to give the FACTS surrounding this customer's transaction. Original order for the Esteban guitar placed on 7/25/05. Customer pays for the order on 8/15/05 online. Order shipped on 8/29/05 and that is a total of 38 days elapsed time from the day the order was placed. I concur that the customer had a difficult time getting information from our Customer Service department and that is an area we are working hard to improve. Will be contacting the customer to either send a replacement guitar or to provide a refund for the full amount. abc Distributing has been in business for over fifty years and we continue to satisfy our customers every day with our quality products, value prices and service. We process hundreds of thousands of orders every week. On occasion customers encounter problems with their orders, but the percentage of problems is infinitesimal compared to the volume we process. We do our best to satisfy each and every issue that comes our way as we will with this customer.
