ABC Distributing ripoff missing packages and terrible customer service staff North Miami Florida
I ordered some merchandise from ABC on November 24, 2004 containing christmas items. I recieved an order confirmation and a majority of my order by the second week in December.
4 items in my order to this date have not been recieved and are not trackable since they have been delivered through the postal service. I am still waiting to receive Christmas ornaments, which won't do me much good at this point.
Last week on the 22nd I called customer service regarding the missing merchandise from my original order. I wanted to know why I had yet to receive these items, when I should expect them, and why I wasn't informed of any delay with this merchandise.
Customer service was very unhelpful. They could not tell me why items were shipped late, why I hadn't been informed, or for that matter, when I would recieve my merchandise. Furious, I asked to speak to a supervisor. Conveniently, they were all too busy to speak with me and the representative informed me I would receive a call back within 72 hours.
Now I knew 72 hours would be Christmas, but I expected a call later that day, Thursday the 23rd, or Monday the 27th. I received no calls from the company. On the 28th, I called them again to complain about their company and service thus far.
I spoke with a supervisor who did not sympathize with my complaints. She said I should have known that they were closed that Thursday, and therefore shouldn't have expected a call back. I'm sorry, but 72 hours to me is 72 hours.
To summarize, my complaints are that I was not informed that my merchandise was out of stock or wouldn't get to me in time, customer service did not empathize or explain the situation to me, and they did not call me back when they said they would - and I have yet to recieve my merchandise. Reading other complaints online about this company makes me leary that I'll even see my merchandise or refund.
Be careful when dealing with this company.
