ABCO Technology Refused to Refund Los Angeles California
ABCO owes me over $10,000 and a projector ($1,400) I let them borrow. I cancelled my classes before they began and was promised a full refund. I have recieved no reason from them. Every request/attempt to contact them is completely ignored (emails, certified letter, phone calls).
I and some others are looking into filing a class action lawsuit against ABCO Technology. If you would like to file with us, please find me through my website at schwartzstudios dot com.
If you have not already made the mistake of doing business with abco, DON'T. I cannot express my shock and frustration that a company could do things like this and still be in business.

TO THIS VERY DAY, I receive email after email and call after call from people being ripped off by ABCO Technology. Please someone tell me how they are still in business?? If you want to be put in contact with other people who are also having to sue them I will help you. They need to not be in business anymore. It makes me so sad that they have taken advantage of so many people and can continue to do it. I don't know how Arif and Fatima sleep at night. They are consciously and intentionally hurting people for money. Melissa

ABCO returned my projector and paid me an amount we agreed on over a period of three months. In our meeting I was told they misunderstood what classes I was taking. They asked me to remove this report but I told them I would only amend it because the fact is-no matter what the misunderstanding-it took them eight months to even speak to me. I don't know if they would have ever spoken to me had I not involved legal professionals. I am not saying this to disparage ABCO, I am just being honest and telling you what I wish someone had told me before I wasted time and money: If you are considering furthering your education in the CS field, consider Santa Monica College. You get transferrable credits (which you will not gain at ABCO-at least not right now-they are "working on it".) and the teachers there are consistently great (although there are many brilliant teachers at ABCO as well).

I have previously written a rebuttal to another complaint and mentioned a few things about ABCO. Please read my comments below: Regarding Melissa was a student at ABCO since 2006. She enrolled in an entier certification program at ABCO and then after attending classes for two months enrolled as a full time student in four certification programs. She completed all her programs but one, at ABCO over a period of one and half year. She was left with the prgramming track, and due to a misunderstanding we offered her Linux (which she completed) as a replacement of her programming track. During her course of study, several of her instructors including myself, helped her at no charge in planning for her website and in addition she also helped the school in several occasions. She is a very smart and intelligent and bright person, so obviously if things were that bad she wouldn't stay in the school for so long. She would've cancelled long time ago. Anyway there was a misunderstanding with her and once again and we called her and we are now in the process of settling her. So there is no class action law suit against ABCO. Overall, I would like to state to all the people reading these complaints against ABCO, should know that ABCO is not only a state accredited school, but we also have a good BBB rating. We are training over 400 students every year and this is our statistics. We as a company have grown an average of 30% every year. We all know that sometimes things go wrong and sometimes we fail too and don't please every one. Overall, we have lots of student evaluations from classes that we are going to start posting on our website soon so that people can go see our good and our bad. In addition, the following has been taken 1) A corrective action has been taken and some of the employees that were not doing their job have been let go 2) There are many students that have completed their education from ABCO and are now certified and we have thier evaluations of how much they liked the class. 3) If you are reading this complaint and you are serious about your education, please come down to ABCO and see our evaluations of classes and talk to some existing students and give ABCO a fair chance.
