I am the ex-associate that AC Solar thinks is responsible for these other posts. I left the company several weeks ago because of unethical and illegal business practices. Everything in these other posts are true.
I was told to sell a specific product to customers. The company delivivered an inferior, less expensive product.
I was told Xcel was delaying the projects. The owner told me, and customers, that the reason it took several months was because of Xcel and the local building department delaying permits. This is not true. You can call your local building department and/or Xcel and verify this. If you are an Austin customer, call Austin Energy.
The company opens finance accounts and immediatey applies charges. They get a large portion of the project, usually half, and then sit on it for weeks to months. Meanwhile, the customer is paying interest charges or losing time on "interest free financing". If you are a customer and this has happened to you, contact the finance company. I would also urge you co contact the appropriate consumer agencies.

This former employee is in violation of a non-compete and confidentially agreement. His statement on being instructed to sell a certain product to customers and the company delivering an inferior, less expensive product is a fradulent and untrue statment. We always deliver on what customers are sold and go up and beyond for every customer and have in many cases upgraded products without additional charges to the customer. Please contact us for our extensive referal list of customers who will confirm this. Any potential customers may call Xcel and Austin Energy and verify that a solar install takes 3+ months. There are many inspections and extensive paper work that needs to take place before a solar install can be completed. Building permits alone can take up to 3 weeks. We work as fast as we can within the utility restrictions and guidelines. Industrywide we are usually faster than the standard time. We are unique because of our financing programs and are one of only a handful of selected Solar companies who can offer what we do. Because of our track record and outstanding reputation with banks and institutions (which can be verified with a call to any of our financial relationships.) We are disbursed by the finance company as the job is completed This can also be verified. Unfortunatly this former employee was released for misleading customers and has used the ripoff report as a vehicle to attempt to harm our company with fradulent information. We maintain an impeccable record with the BBB/Angies list and many other credible consumer advocacy sites. We would not have the fiance programs that we have if his statements were correct. Any potential customers who might happen to view this post please do your research on Solar and Solar companies and especially ours. You will find that we are very unique,Credible,Ethical and always take great care anyone that intrusts us to do work for them. We invite you to contact us and/or our satisfied customers and find out for yourself. Thank you.
