A/C Solar Solutions was formed by Andrew Montney and Cole Reese. Cole was the General Manager and Andrew was the Marketing Manager for the now defunct Energy Resource Group (ERG). ERG was fined by the Colorado Attorney General for deceptive sales practices. Montney (the only person on record as owning th company) has hired several of the personel from ERG and appears to be up to his old tricks. Be aware of these facts: A. They will get you approved for financing and immediately charge half or more to the account they have created for you. Then they will take several weeks to months to complete the installation. They will blame the delay on the energy company. This is not true. Most energy companies only take a couple of weeks. The easiest way to verify this is to call the energy company and ask. If you are already one of their customers, just compare the date of sale on your contract to the date of the permit application. I believe they are not putting deposits in escrow funds as required by Colorado law. I believe they are short of funds and are using current deposits to pay for past jobs. A kind of ponzi scheme. B. A/C Solar Solutions is not part of any government study. They are not part of any university study They are not part of any energy conservation rebate program. C. None of the pictures on their website are jobs they have done. They are stock photos from the manufacturer and residential photos of jobs performed by other companies. They have been selling selling solar systems for less than a year in Colorado. Beware!!!

Our experience with this company was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. They over promise and under deliver. We were told the solar system and energy package would both be installed and finished within 3 weeks of signing the contract. The time frame issue was critical as we had other things we were going to be dealing with later in the summer, and we did not want to have a solar installation going on at the same time. After the first two weeks went by without contact with them I decided to call them. They seemed perplexed as to why I was under the impression that it would be done in three weeks when it takes longer than that to design the system. Maybe I am naive and should have done a bit more investigating into the timeframe, but I believe their salesman came into our home, ate dinner with us, and lied to us in order to get the sale and subsequent commission. That is why I was under that impression...that is what I was told by their employee. This installation was not completed until 4 months after we signed the contract; which brings me to my next complaint. We financed the system through their financing company. One of this company's rules is that the amount of money loaned needs to be used within 4 months. If it is not used in 4 months the money is taken off of the account and needs to be reapplied for. Somehow, a job that was allegedly supposed to take 3 weeks, ended up going past the 4 month mark for using the money. This wouldn't have been a problem except that A/C Solar and Altitude Marketing needed $500 to complete the job. They called me on Thanksgiving to tell me that I owed an additional $500 because the financing account was frozen. They told me I had three options: write a check and mail it to them, have the amount subtracted off the $1000 they owed us, or reapply for the financing and take the credit inquiry ding. I could not believe this was happening. So because they could not find a way to finish the job within 4 months, I was told to deal with it. In my opinion, this company lied to us, and then over promised and under delivered. I would not recommend their services to anyone; ever. This customer had a NEGATIVE experience with this business. This customer WOULD NOT recommend the business to a friend, family member, neighbor or colleague. - See more at: bbb.org/denver/business-reviews/solar-energy-equipment-and-systems-dealers/altitude-marketing-in-lakewood-co-90151837/customer-reviews?cacheit=y#sthash.bGOoF6K2.dpuf This is the review on the Denver BBB website. Currently the company has been caught in a bait & switch scam. They have delivered to several customers a different solar system than ordered - one with lss of a warranty. When the customer discover this, they lie. Their customers are smarter than they think - they figured it out. In the next few weeks I'm sure you will see several BBB complaints along with complaints to government agencies.

This post is from a former employee (Martin Richter) who was released for misleading homeowners and is now working for a window company in Littleton attempting to copy our Solar Program. He is currently under investigation for violation of trade secrets and multiple other violations that include fradulant attempts to harm or discredit. The company was formed By Andrew Montney and Cole Reese who have decades of experiance in the Solar and home improvement iindustry.
There is no relation in ownership between the company in this post and A/C Solar Solutions.(This can be verified with very little research) We are one of only a handful of solar companies that offer the financing options that we do. We are able to offer this because of the bankability of our company and our impeccable reputation with banks and other financial institutions. A typical solar install takes 3+ months and this can be easily verifiied by calling Xcel energy@ 1-800-895-4999 or Austin energy@ 1-888-340-6465.
Permititng takes up to 30 days in several areas and the energy company can take up to 3 months to approve and inspect. Our banks disburse funds as the job is being completed. This is very standard in the solar industry. Our pictures are a combianation of our work and our manufacture's panels. These pictures are displayed on our web page and social media pages along with letters of recommendation from our customers.
We do not claim to to be part of any government program or university study, And have compiled information/data from numerous agency's and reliable information sources. Unfortunatly, Martin Richter has used the site (that does not verify the legitimacy of posts as a vehicle to make fradulent claims). For any potential customers please see our credentials on the BBB, Angie's list and other consumer advocacy sites that do verify, or simply give us a call and ask for our bankability report and a list of our customer advocates. Thank you. The A/C Solar Team

I was never an employee of A/C Solar Solutions, which is another lie this company is telling. Do the research yourself. You can Google Thermal Advantage, Energy Research Group, Colorado Attorney General, and read about what they did. You can also Google Cole Reese and find out that he was the General Manager of Energy Research Group. I can't find anything on the Better Business Bureau on them in Austin, TX. They are listed with an A- rating on the BBB for Denver. A- is the rating all NEW companies get. They have been selling solar for about a year.
I can't seem to find any licensing for this company anywhere. I'm not saying they don't have it, I'm just saying that before you sign ANY contract you should demand to see two things:
1. A contractor's license. They could be subbing out the work to licensed solar contractors. If that is the case, you are paying to much. Cut out the middleman and go straight to the licensed contractor. Make sure they have been doing it more than one year.
2. Demand a copy otheir liability insurance. Do not let them give you a copy. Have their insurance company send it to you showing you as the insured for the job. This is very simple for them if they have a legimate insurance policy.
There are a lot of reputable solar companies in the Denver and Austin areas that have longer and more veriiable credentials. These are reasonable things for any consumer to consider. Don't believe me; and definately don't believe them, do the research yourself.

We are starting to see many other complaint/rip off sites giving us the same kind of recent reviews. We figure it is coming from a disgruntled employee we let go. These statements on here are very false and we wanted to touch base with your site to let you know we do have a investigation going as to who is responsible for these reviews. The profiles were made the same day as the reviews and the release. Our lawyer may be in contact with you if needed. We apologize for you being put in the middle of this mess.
