Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
It is unfortunate the way consumers have been treated by this company. I have read a lot of negative comments about this particular collections agency, prior to a close friend of mine being "let go". I would like to put it out there, that they do not treat their employees any better! My friend was very good at what they did there, and treated the clients with respect and dignity.

Academy Collections Inc web site entices people to apply, makes the applicant think that ACI is a professional place of business. And they are always hiring. However, once you are within the walls, for a person who is professional and courteous, it can be a nightmare. In these unfortunate times within the economy, some are forced to work under any condition.

This company seems makes it their business to suck the life out of their employees. For those who are very good at their job, professional and courteous, they will use them to the companies advantage and until it is their (ACI) turn to reciprocate. For example, they hire individuals Part Time with the impression that after they have proven themselves, they will become Full Time with medical benefits. What a joke! You can be the best, and they will let you go before it is time for them to give you your benefits! Or, they will attempt to leave you at Part Time. Forget if you have a house and family, and the fact that you are good at your job, they will let you go with no explanation, or a bogus reason and never look back at you! Literally. No separation paperwork, nothing. If you ask me, it seems they do not want to have to put out for health benefits!

The turn over rate for collectors there is so extreme! But the upper management tends to stay in tact. The job is so competitive amongst collectors, because the hourly pay is so low, the supposed professionalism can be defined as back biting.

They will play games with those who they are collecting from, and the games are played with those who they let's say temporarily employ.

Disgusting all around!

Academy Collection Service, Inc. web site entices people to apply, makes the applicant think that ACSI is a professional place of business. And they are always hiring. However, once you are within the walls, for a person who is professional and courteous, it can be a nightmare. In these unfortunate times within the economy, some are forced to work under any condition. This company seems to make it their business to suck the life out of their employees. For example, they hire individuals Part Time with the impression that after they have proven themselves, they will become Full Time with medical benefits. What a joke! You can be the best, but do not keep asking where your benefits are they will let you go before it is time for them to give benefits! Or, they will attempt to leave you at Part Time and let you go when it comes to getting a raise. Where are the people who are paid to monitor the calls (management)? Why is it that these unprofessional, downright rude people are able to make more than one call and keep their jobs? Possibly because they are the people who do not respect their job and could care less about full time and benefits. Who can blame them, they are following the example. Management does not respect the employees, and the nastiness trickles down. They will play games with those who they are collecting from, and the games are played with those who they lets say temporarily employ. Disgusting all around!
