Acai Advanced - GLF, THIS COMPANY GAVE OUT MY DEBIT CARD INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTY COMPANIES. I WAS CHARGED ALMOST $300 FOR THEIR "FREE" TRIAL!! Lewiston, Maine
Being self conscious about my weight, as many other people are, I saw this product and how it claimed to be endorsed by "Oprah", "CNN", "ABC", and other high profile companies and thought "wow, this product must really be worth a try, and with Oprah endorsing it it HAS to be trustworthy, right?" WRONG! This company said it would send me a 30-day supply of Acai Advanced for FREE; I only had to pay $5.95 up front to ship it. Then if I did not like the product I could cancel and not be charged further.
Well first off, they gave me ONE week to "try" their product before they charged my debit card $64.95. ON TOP OF THAT, I was charged ANOTHER $24.95 for some subscription to a website called "Live Lean" that I had no idea I was being signed up for. I just went in and checked my bank account today and found TWO MORE pending transactions from other random internet companies: REG.NET (?) and some "SELFHELP" thing from Las Vegas. One of them charged me $69.95, and the other $29.95. I have NO IDEA who these companies are or what the charges were for as I have never received anything other than my 30-day "free" supply of Acai Advanced.
All I know is that they are affiliated with the same company (found this out on the BBB website). I never ordered anything else from them yet I keep getting new strange charges coming up in my bank account. This has also caused my account to overdraft, so with all of these charges and overdraft fees it has costed me almost $300 for this one bottle of vitamins. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM!
