I ordered Acai Optimum and Advanced Colon for a trial offer of $1.99 ea for shipping and handling.  After confirming the order I found out I was charged $99.96 for the Acai Optimum and $99.96 for the Advanced Colon.  You will than mail in a rebate to get your money.

I called and cancelled the order.  When my money was not credited back to my checking account I called the company back.  I was told that my money would not be refunded back to my account because I cancelled my order.

I received one box than the other box a week and a half later.  I was told I could not send it back because they do not take back returns, so I asked about the rebate.  I was told I could no longer do the rebate because I cancelled the order.   I only was I could get the rebate is to reopen the account and I would be billed $99.96 again for each box.

..problem is...they have done their "internet" homework..and FLOODED the internet with "Acai Scam"..so if anyone searches ACAI SCAM..it just leads to another phony bait and switch..and "free trial" website...or "advertisement" if you prefer.

I am torn on this one..I know this is the same guy doing all the bid swipe scams as well..and he is really a genius of the new age ripoff via the internet.

I enjoy this is an unregulated (to a degree) way to communicate and conduct commerce..but at the same time...when do we draw the line between freedom...and the "freedom" to conduct criminal activity with impunity?

I guess it will eventually come down to what we decide as a "free" people what is right..and what is wrong..and what it is worth to sacrifice regarding personal freedom to be protected from scam artists...it's a tough call. This is not a bank or financial institution which we should all hold to higher standards...it is just another snake oil peddler using deception and a con to fleece suckers....what to do?
