I needed to contact the DMV in New Jersey to order a NJ driving abstract. I entered NJ DMV in my browser and went to the first entry in the search results. NJ DMV turned into "Driving Record Online, brought to you by Accurate Credit Bureau"

On 5/21/2004, believing this would be the fastest method, I completed ACB's online order form, submitted my credit card info and paid $29.99 for a driving abstract delivered via e-mail. My husband's NJ license had expired and he wanted to renew it where we live in upstate NY.

The "document" arrived, but the only correct information was my husband's name, his birthdate, and his NJ driver's license number. My husband's birthdate was in the space his Social Security number should have been and "Licensee Name/Address" was blank. They didn't provide his previous or current addresses, sex, weight, height, eye color, race and organ donor info - all omitted by ACB.

There was other missing information...license type and class, date of original issue, expiration date, status, restrictions, endorsements or points. In other words, they left out out practically everything you have ever seen on a driver's license.

I sent an e-mail to let them know their "document" was unacceptable and I was not happy with the results. They sent me an e-mail the following day..."Terrorist threats are a violation of our rights if you want a refund" followed by their request for information they needed to "expedite" my refund (full name, who the report was for, 1st four numbers and last four numbers of my credit card, etc.).

My reply to ACB included that I do not endorse or make terroristic threats. They insisted they had a "very nice company" but the truth was, they had not been "very nice" to me. I apologized to them anyway and provided them with the information they requested for my refund.

When ACB did not reply, I e-mailed them once more to request their "plan for my refund by the following day before the close of business PDT". I have gotten no further response from ACB as of 6/21/2004, one month from my original order date.

These people are TRUE TO FORM. They said they were such a "nice company". They just don't get it. If they were so "nice", they would have sent a response or a rebuttal. They sent the contents of their brains...PURE AIR. I pity anyone who does business with these idiots. They are deceitful liars and the only thing you get in exchange for their so-called "service" is...NADA...ZIP...ZILCH...NOTHING. They WILL get your credit card information right. They don't care about anything else but who they can SCAM and how much money they're going to make. Their ONLY intent is to rip off hard-working people.
